Scope of work: Replacement of aging 30″, 36″, and 42″ prestressed concrete pipe with approximately 24,700 LF of new 36″ zinc-coated ductile iron water main, running from Mars Hill Church Road to the Pine Mountain Ground Storage Tanks. Work was completed in phases, with a temporary 12″ DIP backup feed installed to keep the Pine Mountain Pump Station in service throughout construction.
